Lyons Man Charged with Petit Larceny Following $5 Dollar General Theft

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Lyons man with petit larceny following an incident at the Dollar General in the Town of Lyons.

Deputies allege that Stephen M. Nicoletta, 63, of State Route 31, took food items valued at $5.00 from the store without making an attempt to pay. Authorities arrested Nicoletta on Saturday and transported him to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Nicoletta was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lyons Court at a later date to respond to the charge.
