A Lyons man was arrested late Saturday night following a vehicle and traffic complaint that led to an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
According to deputies, Henry L. McKenzie, 35, of Brandt Road, was taken into custody on multiple charges, including felony driving while intoxicated (DWI), felony aggravated unlicensed operation, and other vehicle and traffic violations.
The investigation began after authorities received a complaint regarding a vehicle on State Route 31 in Macedon. Deputies later located the vehicle in the Town of Palmyra, where they conducted a traffic stop. Law enforcement determined McKenzie was intoxicated, and he was subsequently taken to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. Authorities stated that he refused to submit to a breath test.
McKenzie was processed at the sheriff’s office before being transported to Wayne County Jail. He was scheduled for a court appearance on February 18 at 7:00 a.m.
