Lyons Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Palmyra

A Lyons man was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the Town of Palmyra, according to a report from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Anthony M. Patterson, 29, of Canal Street in Lyons, was arrested after deputies stopped him on Tellier Road. Authorities allege that Patterson failed to stop at a stop sign while traveling eastbound. During the investigation, deputies determined that he was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Patterson faces several charges, including driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree, and refusal to submit to a breath screening.
Following his arrest, Patterson was held for arraignment and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date.
