Lyons Man Arrested Following Lighter Theft at Lyons Kwik Fill

A Lyons man has been arrested following an investigation into a reported shoplifting incident, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Joseph Gonzalez, 26, of Montezuma Street in Lyons, after an inquiry into an alleged larceny that took place in February. Authorities claim Gonzalez stole multiple Bic lighters from the Kwik Fill convenience store in Lyons.

Following his arrest, Gonzalez was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket for one count of petit larceny and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on April 1 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charge.
