Lyons Homeowner Arrested for Criminal Nuisance Following Investigation

A Lyons resident has been arrested following a two-month investigation into alleged narcotics activity at his home, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities launched the investigation after receiving multiple complaints about frequent activity at a residence on Canal Street, where individuals were reportedly observed coming and going at all hours. Following the investigation, law enforcement identified the residence, owned by Albert A. Webber, 69, as a suspected location for the sale of controlled substances.
On February 27, 2025, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, with assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, executed a search warrant at the property. Webber was subsequently charged with criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Officials stated that the investigation into potential narcotics sales at the location remains ongoing.
