A Lodi resident has been charged with drug possession following the execution of a search warrant at his home, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Timothy Thompson reported that investigators arrested William J. Irwin, 47, on February 28, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m. He has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor under New York law.
Authorities say the charge stems from a search of Irwin’s residence, during which investigators reportedly found a quantity of cocaine.
Irwin was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lodi Town Court at a later date.
