A Lodi resident has been charged with drug possession following a search of his home, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Timothy Thompson reported that investigators arrested William J. Irwin, 47, on February 28, 2025, at approximately 8:15 p.m. Irwin is facing a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor under New York law.
Authorities say the charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at Irwin’s residence, where investigators reportedly discovered a quantity of cocaine.
Following his arrest, Irwin was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lodi Town Court at a later date.
