Livonia Man Arrested on Felony Bail Jumping Charge
A Livonia man has been taken into custody on a felony bail jumping charge after authorities issued a warrant for his arrest, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty announced that 48-year-old Troy Struble was arrested on February 28 in the Village of Dansville. The arrest followed an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, which began in December 2024 after Struble allegedly failed to appear in court as scheduled.
As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for Struble on a charge of felony bail jumping in the second degree. Deputies located him at a residence in Dansville and transported him to the Livingston County Jail for processing.
Struble was later arraigned before Geneseo Judge Bushnell in the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the jail. Prosecutors from the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office requested that he be held without bail, citing more than two prior felony convictions. The judge granted the request, remanding Struble into custody.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Struble at his arraignment, while the District Attorney’s Office appeared on behalf of the prosecution.
Authorities did not disclose details regarding the original charges that led to Struble’s missed court appearances.
