The Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department is seeking proposals from contractors for lawn mowing and trimming services for the 2025 season. Interested bidders must be fully insured and capable of providing an insurance certificate if awarded the contract.
According to the department’s specifications, the selected contractor will be responsible for mowing and trimming grass weekly at several designated areas, including:
The north side of the firehouse, including areas around training buildings, the BBQ pit, and other obstacles.
The parking lot and yard at the northwest corner of Lincoln and Plank roads, with trimming required around the sign, mailbox, and telephone poles.
The lot on the southeast corner of Plank and Lincoln roads.
Additionally, all grass clippings must be blown away from paved parking areas to maintain cleanliness.
