Jamestown Woman Indicted in Federal Drug Conspiracy Case
A federal grand jury has indicted a Jamestown woman on charges related to a drug conspiracy, according to an announcement by U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo.
Latika Saintkitts, 34, also known as "Tika," is accused of participating in a narcotics conspiracy that allegedly distributed heroin and fentanyl in the Jamestown area between 2018 and May 2022. If convicted, she faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, with a maximum possible sentence of life.
The indictment also names several co-defendants, including Joseph S. Zaso, Andres Pizzaro Campos, Max Pizzaro Campos, Cindy Frank, Edward Leeper, and Jaquez L. Thomas. Zaso was previously charged and convicted and is awaiting sentencing.
Saintkitts appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah J. McCarthy and was released following her arraignment.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Jamestown Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New York Field Division, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Officials state that the case is part of a broader federal initiative targeting drug-related crimes.
Authorities emphasize that an indictment is not a conviction and that Saintkitts, like all defendants, is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
