A Jamestown man has been sentenced to 66 months in prison following his conviction on drug-related charges, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.
Willie C. Graham, 44, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr., after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo.
The case stemmed from multiple encounters with law enforcement over the past two years. On September 6, 2023, Jamestown Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Graham was a passenger. During the stop, officers found drug paraphernalia in the car and approximately 29 grams of fentanyl in Graham’s possession.
Several months later, on March 2, 2024, Graham was again a passenger in a vehicle that fled from officers attempting a traffic stop. After police caught up with the vehicle, a search led to the discovery of approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $1,134 in cash.
Graham was later arrested on April 30, 2024, by Jamestown Police. At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of approximately 53 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, $185 in cash, and 10 assorted bank and benefit cards, some of which were issued to other individuals.
The case was investigated by the Jamestown Police Department, under the direction of Chief Timothy Jackson, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, led by Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia.
