A Geneva man has been arrested in connection with thefts at two businesses in the Town of Tyre, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies took Lawrence Sullivan, 32, of Geneva into custody on February 2, charging him with two counts of petit larceny. The arrest followed reports that Sullivan allegedly stole items from two separate stores before leaving the scene.
Authorities say Sullivan later returned to one of the businesses, where he was observed taking additional merchandise. Store employees contacted 911, leading deputies to respond and apprehend him.
Sullivan was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Tyre Town Court at a later date.
