Deming’s passing was announced by the Ovid Fire Department, which expressed deep sadness over the loss of a man who dedicated much of his life to serving and supporting his fellow firefighters.
“We at the Ovid Fire Department wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers, as well as your patience as we are going through this terrible time,” the department said in a statement.
