The annual Festival of Inclusion will take place on Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nazareth Golisano Training Center located at 4245 East Ave in Rochester. This free event is open to all and aims to promote inclusivity through interactive activities, community engagement, and adaptive sports.
Organized in collaboration with Special Olympics, Best Buddies, and the Golisano Foundation, the festival will feature more than 80 community stations offering a variety of activities. Attendees can participate in sports and fitness experiences, explore adaptive equipment, and enjoy live demonstrations. Additional attractions include food trucks, therapy animals, and opportunities to meet first responders.
The event seeks to foster a welcoming environment for individuals of all abilities, encouraging participation and awareness. With hands-on experiences and a diverse range of activities, the festival emphasizes the importance of inclusion and accessibility in the community.
