This marks the second fatal aviation accident in the state within 10 days.
At least one person lost their life Wednesday following a collision involving multiple aircraft at Marana Regional Airport, just north of Tucson, Arizona. This marks the second fatal aviation accident in the state within 10 days.
Authorities have yet to provide details on the types of aircraft involved or the circumstances leading up to the crash. The Marana Police Department confirmed the fatality but offered limited information, stating only that it was an "aircraft collision." Federal agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), are set to investigate the incident.
