A Farmington woman was taken into custody on Friday in connection with a child welfare investigation, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the Finger Lakes Hotel on Loomis Road, where they arrested 28-year-old Morgan N. Henry at approximately 4:16 p.m. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities said the arrest followed an investigation into a child who was found outside unattended and not appropriately dressed for the weather.
Henry was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. She was later released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Farmington Court at a later date.
No further details about the child’s condition or the circumstances of the incident were immediately available.
