A Farmington man was arrested late Monday night after Ontario County Sheriff's deputies discovered he was driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.
According to authorities, Stephen S. Youngs, 40, was stopped on State Route 5&20 near State Route 364 in Canandaigua at approximately 10:47 p.m. on March 11. Deputies determined the vehicle Youngs was operating had a suspended registration. Further investigation revealed that his driver’s license had been suspended 16 times.
Youngs was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree. Officials also confirmed he had an outstanding warrant for a previous charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree.
Following his arrest, Youngs was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
