Empire State Development and ITT Inc. Partner to Boost New York’s Manufacturing Sector
$85 Million investment will upgrade facilities and create 75 jobs across Seneca Falls, Syracuse, and Orchard Park.
Empire State Development (ESD) announced a landmark partnership with ITT Inc. that will see up to $85 million invested in New York State facilities between 2025 and 2029. The initiative will include upgrades to ITT operations in Seneca Falls, Onondaga, and Erie counties and create up to 75 new high-quality jobs, further strengthening New York's manufacturing economy.
ITT Inc., a multinational leader in engineered components and technology solutions, will focus its investment on three key locations:
Goulds Pumps (Seneca Falls): $72.5 million investment and 45 new jobs.
Enidine (Orchard Park): $11 million investment and 25 new jobs.
Embedded Motor Drive (EMD, Syracuse): $1.5 million investment and 5 new jobs.
Governor Kathy Hochul praised the partnership as a testament to New York’s leadership in advanced manufacturing. "Upstate New York’s manufacturing resurgence continues to accelerate, thanks to collaborations with industry leaders like ITT. This investment demonstrates our commitment to fostering innovation and creating competitive jobs in the state."
Empire State Development President and CEO Hope Knight added, “This is a major win for Upstate New York, reinforcing our state’s position as a global hub for cutting-edge manufacturing and technology.”
To support ITT’s expansion, ESD is providing up to $3.25 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Tax Credits.
