Elmira Woman Arrested on Outstanding Probation Violation Warrant

An Elmira woman is in custody at the Chemung County Jail after being arrested on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities stated that Mishka Y. Samuel, 42, was taken into custody on February 18, 2025, following the issuance of a Superior Court warrant by Chemung County Court on February 13, 2025.

Samuel remains held at the Chemung County Jail as she awaits arraignment. Further details regarding the nature of the probation violation have not been disclosed.
