A Canandaigua woman was arrested early Wednesday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated woman attempting to leave the Finger Lakes Gaming and Race Track at approximately 1:57 a.m. on February 28, 2025. Deputies located the described vehicle in the area and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver, identified as 69-year-old Sally A. Cramb of Canandaigua, was found to be operating the vehicle and allegedly showed signs of intoxication. Deputies conducted field sobriety tests, which led to her arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Cramb was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she refused to provide a breath sample to determine her blood alcohol content, officials said. She was held pending centralized arraignment.
Authorities remind residents of the dangers of impaired driving and encourage the public to report suspected intoxicated drivers.
