Deputies: Geneva Man Used Stolen Debit Card for Food Order in Palmyra
42-year-old Michael A. Vanderyke was arrested on charges of petit larceny and third-degree identity theft.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Geneva man in connection with a larceny investigation in the Town of Palmyra.
According to law enforcement officials, deputies took Michael A. Vanderyke, 42, of Genesee Street in Geneva, into custody on charges of petit larceny and third-degree identity theft. Authorities allege that Vanderyke used debit card information to place a food order without the cardholder's permission.
Following the arrest, Vanderyke was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court on March 18 at 5:00 p.m.
