Canandaigua Woman Arrested on Felony Warrant and Drug Charges

Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Canandaigua woman on Friday afternoon following a felony bench warrant issued for her arrest.

According to the sheriff’s office, 33-year-old Erica Paige Record was taken into custody on Interstate 490 at approximately 2:01 p.m. after allegedly failing to appear in Ontario County Court. The warrant stemmed from charges including fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony driving while intoxicated, and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child.

Authorities reported that during her arrest, Record was found in possession of a controlled substance and was subsequently charged with an additional count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in the Town of Hopewell.

Following her arrest, Record was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held pending arraignment.
