Canandaigua Man Charged with Petit Larceny at Eastview Mall

A Canandaigua man has been charged with petit larceny following an incident at the Von Maur store in Eastview Mall, authorities said.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested Jacob Wesley Turner, 21, at approximately 5:04 p.m. on February 20, 2025. Turner is accused of taking $118 worth of merchandise from the department store without payment.

Following the arrest, Turner was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to respond to the charge.
