A Canandaigua man was arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at the intersection of State Route 332 and North Street, according to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities say deputies stopped 23-year-old Julian K. Mantione around 2:26 a.m. on March 22 as part of a traffic investigation. Following his arrest, Mantione was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where a Datamaster test reportedly determined his blood alcohol concentration to be .08%, the legal limit in New York State.
Mantione was issued uniform traffic tickets for stopping or parking on a highway and driving while intoxicated before being released, officials said. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Canandaigua Court at a later date to address the charges.
