Butler Man Arrested on Charges of Forcible Touching, Child Endangerment
Deputies took Thomas E. Krebs, 42, of South Butler Conquest Road, into custody on charges of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Butler resident following an investigation into a reported domestic incident. Authorities allege that the case involved the sexual abuse of a juvenile over a period of time at a residence in the town.
Deputies took Thomas E. Krebs, 42, of South Butler Conquest Road, into custody on charges of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. According to law enforcement, the allegations stem from an incident in July 2024, in which Krebs is accused of inappropriately touching a minor who lived at the residence.
Following his arrest, Krebs was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment in CAP Court.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the victim or additional circumstances surrounding the case. The investigation remains ongoing.
