Bloomfield Man Arrested on Child Sexual Assault Charges

A Bloomfield man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of sexual contact with a minor, according to law enforcement officials.

Zachary S. Rogers, 40, was taken into custody on March 14, 2025, on an indictment warrant. He is charged with predatory sexual assault against a child under the age of 13, a Class A-II felony, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Ontario County Child Protective Services, conducted the investigation. Authorities allege that Rogers engaged in criminal sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.

Rogers was arraigned in Ontario County Court, where his bail was set at $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date for further proceedings.

The case remains under investigation.
